This link with its two shortening hooks at 3/8” is able to handle a Working Load Limit of 15,200 lbs. at 60 degrees with a 2 Leg Sling. The ½” unit is able to handle a Working Load Limit of 26,000 lbs. at 60 degrees with a 2 Leg Sling. The 5/8” unit is able to handle a Working Load Limit of 39,100 lbs. at 60 degrees with a 2 Leg Sling. The master link allows for easier installation. The two shortening hooks allow you to quickly and effectively adjust the chain sling without affecting the working load limit.
